COOL SOLUTIONS (UK) LTD. started life in November 1999 by Directors who possess over 40 years’ experience in the Transport and Forwarding industry.
From the outset the Company has had the intention to deliver a first class personal service with the use of leading edge technology and equipment.
Cool Solutions now has 5 offices within its European network, 3 in the UK in Hull, Felixstowe and Gateshead and 2 in Europe in Oostende and Rotterdam. All offices are situated in key locations close to Port and operational activity. Thus the Company is ideally placed to offer a comprehensive transport solution to customer requirements.
Cool Solutions now has a fleet of 225 trailers with further expansion planned. The fleet consists of 40 temperature controlled trailers with a temperature range of +25 to -20 degrees c. Temperatures can be monitored remotely. Additionally, downloads are available upon request. All trailers are fitted with a satellite navigation system allowing exact identification of consignments anywhere in Europe.
Cool Solutions (UK) Ltd. operate a fleet of 40 owned UK trucks throughout the UK and Europe. In line with Company policy of operating an up to date and modern fleet, the latest additions have Euro V engines which are the most environmentally friendly currently available. All trucks are fitted with a satellite navigation system allowing each driver to optimise directions to customers’ premises, thus reducing journey times and increasing efficiency.
Throughout its sites the Company is committed to providing a safe working environment for all its employees and recognises its responsibilities to Health and Safety. External and in-house training together with development courses are provided.
Cool Solutions also offers a groupage and part-load service in addition to its full load service. Hazardous consignments of whatever nature can also be carried, safe in the knowledge that only professionally trained personnel are used.
